Here comes another addition to the Honor series by Huawei, the Huawei Honor 8, which is known for its affordability. The all glass Honor 8 is a fully fledged smartphone and has got similar features to that of Huawei P9 but with half the price as compared to it.
The phone uses the operating system Android Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1. It contains Huawei’s Kirin 950 octa-core chip along with two RAMS of 3GB and 4GB. The internal storage is up to 64GB.
Huawei Honor 8 comes with 5.2″ 1080 display with 8 MP front camera while the back camera is a dual 12 MP with an aperture of f/2.2 which is a noteworthy feature.
The phone contains a 300 mAh battery with a type C slot and it provides the facility of fast charging. Like most of the Huawei’s phones, the Honor 8 has a rear fingerprint scanner a few centimeters below the camera.
The mobile phone is made up of glass body with an aluminum frame on the sides which is similar in color to the glass. It makes the phone very attractive, and this design feature is rarely seen on any other mobile phone.
The international availability date of the phone is still not known. It is going to release in China on 19th July. The 3GB RAM phone will cost CNY 1,999 which makes almost Rs. 31,000, while the 4GB RAM phone will cost CNY 2,499 which equals almost Rs, 39,000.
