It is for your information that Microsoft has now come up with an Operating System that has been powered by LINUX. It has now built and created its own Linux-based operating system which we all call it with the name of Azure Cloud Switch (ACS) and here at this post, we will be giving you the detailing about that:

What is Azure Cloud Switch (ACS)?

It has now been according to an announcement by the Microsoft’s website which has told us about this ACS, it has been described as “cross-platform modular kind of operating system and it will be used for data center networking that has been built on Linux.” You can also say that it a kind of “Commodity switch software that will be used by the data center networks. You might be thinking that what is the use of this Linux-based operating system then we can tell you that this Azure Cloud Switch operating System will be letting the Microsoft to make it just simpler for the controlling of its hardware right from multiple vendors.

Use of Azure Cloud Switch

It is to be kept in mind that this Microsoft’s Linux distribution will not be able to appear on Desktops or at the Servers because it is not at all typical kind of consumer-grade Operating System. This Azure Cloud Switch (ACS) Linux OS has only been marked as an internal tool which will be used by the Microsoft to “debug and also fix and test software bugs in a faster way. This ACS was demonstrated right at the SIGCOMM conference at the time of August 2015 and that too at Imperial College London.
